St. Tammany Parish (Mandeville, Covington, Slidell) dumps, transfer stations & drop-off sites

Checked Oct 23, 2026 Official source: St. Tammany Parish Government

We did not find a parish-run trash drop-off site on stpgov.org. The public option we could verify is Stranco's privately operated transfer station on Highway 59 in Mandeville, which takes household garbage, construction debris, yard waste and appliances for a fee. The parish holds two Household Hazardous Waste days a year and publishes a list of licensed garbage haulers.

Who can use them

Stranco's transfer station is open to the public. The parish Household Hazardous Waste days require online pre-registration and are limited to 600 cars.
